Congrats!!! I’m not for another 2 months, but I happen to live in the free world :)

Are we talking preferred, or “what I plan to use to get a buzz going in T minus several minutes”? Because the one might be a rum and vanilla Coke or several Reissdorf Koelsch, but the other is “Fireball which I intend to chunk into a cream soda and knock back like a potion-chugging wizard”.

‘tis a good night for sucking a trashy blond.

Sure is.

As in, what is going down tonight. Or in several minutes. Whatever.
I wish we could still get vanilla coke...

They announced that my office is closing and this is the scotch I have at home... it will be happening.
At least I’ll get to see my sweetie next weekend...

I'm still going in the other direction with a tumbler full of cold-brewed coffee from Caffe Vita, my favorite coffee here in Seattle (or anywhere else, for that matter).
![]() 07/24/2015 at 15:49 |

Iced Coffee is one of THE greatest drinks. Period. So, no issues here :)

I wasn’t a big fan of Mexican beer until I went on my honeymoon to Tulum last year. While I was there, I started drinking Modelo, and it became my preferred summer beer. I’ll pick up a 12 pack for the weekend tonight.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 15:51 |

The preferred summer brew around here seems to be Corona. No Idea why. I can’t stomach it. I should see if I can find this...

Canada?

Indeed.

Crisp, hoppy, a great sipping beer but I wouldn’t want to down more than three of them. Really interesting spice notes too. It is worth noting that I get the good stuff from their original brewery, since I live on the West Coast. They opened up another brewery in North Carolina and I strongly doubt that the beer out of that facility is as good, because so much of beer is the quality and characteristics of the water that goes into it.

These two should get me through tonight.

Mmmm
I wonder if I can find this in Canuckistan.

Oh MAN, that is some GREAT scotch.

I prefer cider over beer my self, but I like to make my own.
though I’m less of a drink than I am a smoker to be honest. THC > C 2 H 5 OH

oh man. 7&7 my old friend. How I loved thee.. still enjoy on occasion, truely the drink of gentleman.. I like mine 7&7 in a short glass please! no I’m not trying to get you to sneak me more booze, just less sugar water! tastes much better that way.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:09 |

I think it’s available in BC. Not sure about other places.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:11 |

I just started drinking them about 6 months to a year ago after drinking Jack and Coke all the time. The coke got way to sweat for me but it seems like 7 is much better. I like mine strong with just a splash of 7up to cut down on some of the sweetness.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:13 |

Fireball and Cream Soda? I have never heard of that, sounds pretty interesting. Do you take it as a shot or as a drink?
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:13 |

Homebrew=good. And if it isn’t, it’s your own fault...
I do not smoke. I find the smell of heavy smokers actually quite repulsive. However, like I said, post your poison. As long as we’ve got a screen between it’s OK :)
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:14 |

Punches huh? I personally like Acid’s the best. Maybe I am just a pussy who likes sweet cigars haha
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:16 |

Corona is meh, it’s my least favorite of the three generally available Mexican beers, the other being Dos Equis. There’s a Mexican restaurant near here I’m find of, called Agave. A ‘tall’ Modelo is 36oz, and makes me quite happy.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:17 |

I’ve never heard of it either. I was listing what I intend to do, not something I necessarily advise or have tried. I was intending to make it as a shot AND drink, which is to say mix it crazy heavy like I like my rum and cokes and drink it as if it isn’t heavy. 1/3 booze or so.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:18 |
|
might as well bump it up to about 1/2-3/4 booze ha
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:19 |

darn right! home brewing is so much fun. I really only do a big cider run each fall. I haven’t done beer in a while. I just don’t drink the stuff any more.
and I agree i don’t care for the smell of heavy tobacco smokers either. luckily i’m down to half a pack a day and do a good job of keeping that smell off me. luckily the other stuff doesn’t linger long tho!

![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:21 |

exactly. my preferred order is 7&7 double in a short glass. just enough sweet to cut the booze but not enough to drown it out. I hate when bartenders act like i’m just trying to get more booze when I simply just want less soda.
![]() 07/24/2015 at 16:23 |
|
Ya it always seems like when you order a double anyways they just put the same about of whiskey in it and just double the fucking soda.

Can I come with? Plzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzzz? :)
With you on all but the wine. I don’t like red wine. Unless it’s port.

I love me some Woodford
Or, some mead. Schramm’s mead (made by the dude that literally wrote the book on mead making) is local to me, and their best flavor by far is Black Agnes (black currant mead).

I don’t mind some wines. My girlfriend’s parents are fairly big into wine so I’ve tried a few. The peach one is really really good though. First tried at a wine tasting in Niagara, and the vintner said that it’s technically not a wine due to no grapes being used.
The coolers are mostly for my girlfriend. The red wine is so I don’t look like a cheapskate to her parents (it’s their cottage). The jager and beer are for me.
I wish I could offer that invite. There’s some lovely driving roads up there too. It’s on Mazinaw Lake (Bon Echo Park).

Punches are my cheap go to. And I haven’t smoked in quite awhile.
I think I've had acids before. I'm not big on the flavored stuff. You should try Tatianas. They are pretty decent.
